Sex Museum

The Sex Museum, also known as Venus Temple, is the world's first and oldest operating museum about sex. With a central theme focusing on sexual intercourse and erotica through the ages, the Sex Museum holds an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, artifacts, photos, videos and audio recording clips. All in all, the Sex Museum is quite an interesting place to spend time. The Sex Museum Amsterdam is a three-floor museum featuring exhibits which portray various styles of copulations and negligee garments since time immemorial. These exhibits are centered on various themes such as Kama Sutra, Asian and Oriental erotica, and historical figures like Mata Hari, Marilyn Monroe, Giacomo Casanova, Marquis De Sade and Fanny Hill. All these individuals were either amorous womanisers or sultry temptresses, celebrated for carnal pursuits in their time.
