Fun Forest Amsterdam is a climbing park located in the south side of Amsterdam. It is an excellent family activity and is definitely the thing to do if your child is outdoorsy. In the park, you can climb and swing in between the trees with ropes, pulleys and experts ensuring your safety. There are 8 levels of courses ranging from very easy to extremely hard. Children between 8-14 can climb only together with an adult and children till the age of 18 need a signed parental approval form. 1 adult can supervise 2 children in the trees. Children below the age of 8 are not allowed but there is a speedrunner course (starting at age 7) where children from 7-11 years can climb alone.
