Amsterdam: Anne Frank Walking Tour
392 ReviewsExplore Amsterdam and hear the story of Anne Frank, her move from Germany, the time she was hiding, and her father's life after the war.
The largest public library in Europe, the Openbare Bibliotheek, is known to locals as 'the bib'. The bib is located a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station and houses more than just books. In addition to finding quiet places to study, you can find restaurants, international newspapers, and even a piano that is open to public use. Don't worry, though, it is only limited to those who actually know how to play the piano, so it creates a lovely atmosphere. Best of all, you can peruse books, magazines, and newspapers seven days a week from 10 am to10pm for free. The highlight is the view of Amsterdam from the La Place cafe on the 7th floor. You should visit just for this!
